𝐁𝐀𝐊𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 ;;𝑻𝑾 ;; // domestic abuse ,, child abuse ,, addiction ,, death𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒖𝒆 ;;it was a hot summer night ,, newlyweds violeta and mateo becerra were finally able to flee their home country. all for their future life. they were the stereotypical couple ,, big burly bull and the small housewife. violeta had dreams of living the american dream in a nice little home full of beautiful children with her hardworking husband. but it seemed this new country didn’t have the same dream for them. because of their lack of english they were unable to find jobs ,, leaving them homeless and nearly starving for months with the little money they had. they didn’t have the option to go back home either. they were penniless ,, living off of foraged food and the little money they were able to make doing odd jobs.it wasn’t until a few months after they had arrived that mateo was finally able to find himself a job. a farm hand on a nearby ranch. the couple lived in a shed for about a year before they were finally able to afford to buy themselves a little plot of land in a nearby forest that had a small cabin. while mateo worked day in and day out to provide ,, violeta worked to make their new home safe for living ,, even with a baby on the way.𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 ;;then in an early april morning ,, clarabelle marisol becerra is born. a beautiful calf ,, with her grandfather’s dazzling emerald orbs ,, a head full of dark curls and the brightest little smile the couple ever did see. she was always such a happy little girl ,, born with a smile on her face ... her parents always reminded her of it.she was a shy child ,, growing up with mostly her mother to talk to seemed to make quite an effect on clarabelle. her mother had tried for years to give her a little sibling but was never fully capable of doing so ,, and it wasn’t like clarabelle could make friends. she lived too far from any schools. she was only taught what her mother knew from her own limited education. this seemed to take a toll on her mother’s relationship with her father. they fought a lot when he was home. it was rare for them to have a quiet night.it seemed that through the years he’d become more distant ,, cold ,, mean. he started to hurt her mother made her cry when the little calf wasn’t around but she wasn’t dumb ... she knew. she could hear him screaming ,, her crying ... the walls were thin in their little home.𝒕𝒆𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔 ;;he was a troubled man ,, angry. he held in a lot of hurt from his life back home that he took on drinking and smoking when she was younger. it was only worse on violeta and even clarabelle. their life had been full of so much pain and terror for years up until she was 15 that he finally passed away. lung cancer. clarabelle was numb ,, she didn’t know what to feel. relief ... pain. it was like she was a broken clock ,, ticking at the same second forever. and despite her mother having to endure so much of his abuse for so long ,, she was absolutely distraught. luckily the two were able to survive another two winters together while mourning his death before her mother followed along ,, finally leaving clarabelle all on her own. 16 and alone to fend for herself in a world she knew nothing about.she had tried to get a job bout found it rather hard seeing as she’d never had a proper education. she resorted to selling baked goods and home made dairy products at her local farmers market which brought her just enough to keep her afloat while grieving the death of her best friend ,, her mother.𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕 ;;after about a year of self pity she was able to sell the land her father had bought all those years ago and buy herself her own little plot of land along with a cottage. she planned on making her own life ,, full of happiness and love ,, and so she did.( 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭 ... )
